Construction updates
The land was cleared in early 2021 as we awaited approval of the plans.
The foundation was dug in the Fall of 2021. Getting closer!
The footers were poured, and the lower level was constructed mid-December 2021 - February 2022.
Construction resumed in March when the first logs were laid! It’s looking good!
The building has been framed, the roof installed, and windows and doors have been put in as of August.
Work continues on the inside of the building with electrical, plumbing, and the HVAC. We are getting excited!
As winter approaches, the crew continues to make great progress. The insulation, dry wall, and additional wood trim has been installed.
The parking lot is taking shape and the stone looks amazing on the exterior. Work is continuing through the cold weather, and we can’t wait for the building to be complete early 2023!
So much has been happening very quickly…almost too much to mention! The permanent staircase to the loft has been installed, the trim is up, the plumbing is going in, light fixtures are being installed, and the salt cave is nearly complete (more on that later!!)
And did we mention?! The engraved bricks are in the process of being installed! We can’t wait to see it complete! Thank you to everyone who donated a brick to support Tyler’s Redemption Place!
The final work has been done, and the building has been cleaned. Tyler’s Redemption Place passed the final inspection through Summit County!!
Move in day was Saturday, February 11th! We have lots of work to do to be ready, but we are excited that the real journey is just beginning!!
