ONLINE SUPPORT AND MEETINGS

EVERLASTING RECOVERY

Due to the newest COVID-19 restrictions, Everlasting Recovery support group at Compassion Church will be moving meetings to video conferences until further notice.  See the calendar on our recovery page for meeting details.  Every Thursday from 6:30-8:00pm.  Contact Mike Schleis at 330-697-2891 for Zoom meeting ID and password.

What is Everlasting Recovery?
A faith-based recovery group meeting using a Christ-centered model for recovery. Using a powerful program called Freedom From Addiction, learn how to overcome strong holds and temptations and break free from alcoholism, drug addiction, and other addictive behaviors. Shame, guilt, and unforgiveness are the main stigmas of addiction often leaving those in recovery with a sense of loss and hopelessness. Learning how to forgive yourself and others is the key to a successful long-term recovery. Leave the past and all the baggage behind and learn how live the life you were created to live.

This Everlasting Recovery group meetings are free.

This is a weekly recovery group meeting, held every Thursday from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Compassion Church.

For more information, contact Mike Schleis at 330-697-2891.

HOPE UNITED IS OFFERING AFTERCARE/RELAPSE PREVENTION VIA TELEHEALTH

*In order to continue to serve clients during this time of uncertainty, Hope United is now offering Telehealth - virtual counseling, aftercare and relapse prevention services.  Call 330-520-8700 to learn more.

Recovery from a substance use disorder doesn’t stop after residential or intensive outpatient treatment is complete, and should continue for a minimum of one-year post-treatment. We at Hope United offer a step-down approach that includes an individualized program with the client’s specific needs in mind - addressing both substance use and mental health disorders simultaneously. Relapse prevention is a crucial part of treatment and should be integrated into everyday life. Working through a long-term aftercare program will help clients develop the skills needed to continue working a structured recovery plan and build a strong, abstinence-based life.  For more information, call us at 330-520-8700.
